Meeting you, on-site arrangements & inflation

We will greet you at the agreed meeting point and take you to the launch site.

Once on site, you will be given a pre-flight safety briefing and instructed on landing procedures in accordance with CAA operational requirements.

A big part of the unique ballooning experience is actually joining in the preparation and inflation of the balloon itself, so we’ll be happy to involve you in the laying out and cold inflation of the envelope which starts the experience. It really is a marvel how a bag full of fabric is transformed into part of the flying machine.

Once the cold inflation is complete the pilot will turn on the burners to hot inflate the envelope and complete the initial inflation phase. At this point you will be invited to come into the basket and join the pilot for the lift off.
